Unit history of the 17th Armored Engineer Battalion from July 1940 to May 1945
This is a copy from the “official” Unit History, we transcribed it and made a webpage for each phase, to read the history start with phase 1: Organisation and training in the U.S.A.
We incorporated the info we have about the casualties, photographs, intervieuws, after action reports etc. By reading the phases with the addiotional info you get a good picture of the total History of the 17th Engineers.
